October is just one day away and that means that Breast Cancer Awareness Month is just about to begin! Here at the Pura Vida HQ, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is one of our most important awareness month because and we currently have five different styles of bracelets and one bracelet pack that give back to Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC), a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation dedicated to providing education, prevention and support programs for young people and the action sports community at large. Through grassroots events and year-round educational outreach, B4BC is able to further its mission of promoting early detection as well as a healthy, active lifestyle as the best means of breast cancer prevention. B4BC's goal is to not only celebrate life at every turn but empower women to impact positive lifestyle choices.
