Chia seeds have incredible health benefits for our bodies. They are a great protein source, high in nutrients and provide a great amount of energy and endurance to keep you going throughout your day. Another plus? These seeds will keep you full for HOURS! This recipe is so yummy and so simple! You can have these ready in about 20 minutes or leave in the fridge over night.
What you will need:
1 cup of almond milk or coconut milk
1/2 cup of chia seeds
frozen berries
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon
Organic honey, 100% Maple syrup, Stevia or any other sort of natural sweetener
Start by blending the frozen berries then adding them to the jar you will put your finished pudding in.
Once you have placed all of the frozen berry puree in the bottom of the jar, set it aside.
Grab a new container to make the pudding in. Start by pouring in your almond milk and chia seeds first. Then mix.
Next, mix in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon, along with your sweetener of choice. MIX!
Cover and set in the fridge for about 20 minutes or leave over night to have in the morning for breakfast! Once the pudding is done setting, take your original jar with the frozen berry puree and pour your chia seed pudding in.
Top with fresh strawberries and bananas. Enjoy!
