Elephant Magazine Silhouette Art

Did you guys know it's national elephant appreciation day coming up this week? On September 22nd 2016 we honor one of the largest land animals in the world! We wanted to give you something to create at home to hang in your room to always show appreciation to these beautiful animals. What you will need: -Print out of an elephant -Permeant marker -Old Magazines -Scissors -Glue or mod podge -Cardboard paper img_4993 Step 1) Cut out cool patterns in your magazines. Pops of color, texture, anything that stands out to you! img_4995Step 2) Cut out elephant print out. Trace on a piece of cardboard paper img_5002Step 3) Cut your favorite magazine pieces into long strips img_5012Step 4) Paint mod podge or glue on the inside of your elephant silhouette img_5013Step 5) Place your magazine strips on top of mod podge, and smoothe out any bumps img_5016Step 6) Cut excess cardboard around elephant silhouette img_5033Step 7) Enjoy your colorful elephant creation! img_5054
