A weekend of self care sleepovers and sunset set lists? We love the sound of that. 🎶Join us as we recap our first June stop on the Live Free tour: Charleston, South Carolina. This charming city has *so* much to offer; so we set out for a jam-packed two days to experience as much of it as we could to kick off the summer. We’re joined by four east coast creators, based out of beach towns spanning from Florida to North Carolina. Our itinerary begins in the scenic seaside town of Wilmington, NC and concludes with the High Tide Festival in Charleston, an immersive riverfront music festival. Let’s talk about everything that happened in between, shall we?Â
The road trip vibes were strong as we embarked on the ~4 hour trip from Wilmington to Charleston, jamming out to the Live Free Summer Playlist the whole way down. Once the group arrived, it was time to check in and get ready for our welcome dinner at Little Palm, a poolside bar and restaurant where all enjoyed delicious eats and crafted cocktails. 🌴 Once back home, everyone settled in for a cozy girls night of movies, popcorn, face masks and manicures. 💅
Day two started off right with pre-yoga fuel at Kudu Coffee in Downtown Charleston. With caffeine in hand, the group headed over to The Wonderer, a social, working, and wellness space for two top-tier activities: yoga and brunch. What better way to get centered before dancing the night away at a music festival?! 💃Â
It was then time for the main event: the High Tide music festival at Riverfront Park! 💿 Now, this isn’t your ordinary music festival: it’s a music & lifestyle experience focused on creating special moments set against picturesque, coastal backdrops, and making the destination as important as the journey. The group had the best time and jammed out to incredible headliners to round out the trip before packing up in the AM.Â
