Our sixth Live Free stop takes the tour to new heights with the help of our favorites, the Outdoorsy Gals™, a global community of women who love the outdoors. With a scenic road trip along the coast, AutoCamp cookouts, and breathtaking park adventures, we had the best time celebrating our newest collaborative collection benefiting the National Parks Association. This collection is a special curation of pieces for nature-lovers committed to taking on everything the great outdoors has to offer while protecting our environment and national parks – so what better place to celebrate than in Yosemite? 🧡🌲✨🌍
The story starts back in San Diego where we’re first joined by our lovely trip guests: Becca Speak, Izzy Borello, Aysia Lanae, Andrea Nwachukwu, and Sophia Toomb, a stellar collection of Southern California based content creators. We all met up to embark on a scenic, coastal road trip filled with the best vibes, playlists, games and snacks (of course.) Once we arrived, we were welcomed with delicious fireside s’mores and nachos at AutoCamp Yosemite. After dinner, we turned in early to prep for the exciting day of adventure ahead.
The following day consisted of all the incredible, picturesque top sights to see at Yosemite. We journeyed through the Tunnel View, Cooks Meadow, Lower Yosemite Falls and El Cap Meadow, to name a few. Along the way, we took with us so many photos and memories while living out the Outdoorsy Gals™ mission rooted in travel and connection.
The first orders of business when returning back to camp was to 1) get into comfy clothes and 2) gather around the fire for Campfire Pad Thai (I mean, yum!) There, we recapped the amazing day that was had and shared our favorite travel stories over even more s’mores.
When the sun rose on our final day together, the group had a quick pack and paint sesh after cheffing up breakfast burritos over the fire and recounted our favorite memories from the trip. Here's a quick recap of our favorites:
⛰️ Driving up through the mountains and getting our first look at the raging river coming out of Yosemite
🌊 Looking out over the valley from Tunnel View, with Half Dome nestled in the middle of epic waterfalls
🏞️ Running/cartwheeling through Cooks Meadow with Half Dome on one side of us and lower Yosemite Falls on the other
🌲 Walking up to Lower Yosemite Falls, under skyscraper tall trees
🧗♂️ Sitting in El Capitan Meadow as the sky grew dark and looking for climbers up on the mountain face
Once packed, we had an amazing drive back to San Diego to top off a once in a lifetime trip and talk about the incredible community the Outdoorsy Gals™ have cultivated.
We’re so grateful we had this chance to indulge in the great outdoors with our incredible guests who made this trip everything that it was.
